GPS Asset Recovery and Decommissioning in Phoenix Arizona

Global Power Supply is proud to announce that it has recently completed the removal of two Cummins 800kW standby diesel generators, fourteen 22 ton Liebert precision air handlers, three Liebert UPS systems, and additional electric power equipment from a commercial facility operated by the University of Phoenix in Phoenix, Arizona.

The work began back in February of 2017 when GPS was awarded the project based on the tremendous value provided to the University for their equipment and our unique ability to swiftly remove of all the assets. The timing on site required only working between the hours of 10pm and 6am. The work was completed in under a month which included the removal of gensets and enclosures, air handlers, transformers, switchgear, flooring, cabling and the clean up.

“We meet the challenges on the ground. Super fast under tough time requirements and graveyard shifts.” said Marc Basche, GPS’s Director Critical Infrastructure Equipment Division

GPS managed the additional contractors and local labor throughout the entire process.

“I’ve enjoyed working with the crew. Hoping our paths cross again.” said Ron Wieler, Artis REIT.
