Kohler KD800 800 kW Diesel Generator

The Kohler KD800 800 kW diesel generator is designed for commercial and industrial standby power applications requiring reliable, high-capacity backup power. This 2022 generator set is rated for 800 kW (1000 kVA) standby power at 60 Hz and 1800 RPM and is configured for 277/480 V, 3-phase power. The unit is powered by a Kohler KD27VIZ-6AES diesel engine and is identified as EPA Tier 2 on the equipment listing. Kohler's published KD800 specifications also identify an 800 kW standby rating and 720 kW prime rating for the model.

With only 33 operating hours, this used KD800 is configured with a sound-attenuated enclosure and 1400-gallon sub-base fuel tank, providing an integrated package for outdoor standby power installations. The generator also includes a Kohler APM603 digital control panel and a reconnectable Kohler alternator. For facilities evaluating backup power for critical operations, this configuration combines an 800 kW standby generator, enclosure, and large-capacity fuel storage in a single available system.
