Global Power Supply is proud to announce the installation of a Caterpillar 2500 kW standby diesel generator, with sound attenuated enclosure, sub-base fuel tank, paralleling switchgear, along with diesel particulate filter (DPF) and selective catalytic reduction (SCR) to meet tier 4 final emissions standards. The unit was ordered by a college in San Francisco, California.
In years past, the college has suffered power outages by provider PG&E. With potential wildfire power shutoffs during high wind events, the college needed a solution to provide the entire facility power.
